Online Learning Facilitator Eastend School

Support online learners at Eastend School as a temporary part-time Online Learning Facilitator with strong communication and technology skills. Work independently while helping students progress.

Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre requires an Online Learning Facilitator from December 1, 2026, until December 1, 2027, or the incumbent's return. You will serve as a primary learner contact, supporting online education through organization, interpersonal skills, and knowledge of relevant technology. The position requires understanding online learning challenges and adapting to changing student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Orient students to procedures, expectations, and online learning
• Monitor student pace, progress, grades, and upcoming deadlines
• Maintain organized records, communications, assignments, and progress reports
• Coordinate and proctor examinations
• Encourage communication, empathy, and continued student engagement

Requirements:

• Educational Assistant Certificate or Diploma with work experience, or equivalent
• Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Satisfactory vulnerable sector criminal record check required
