Lead merchandising and freight processing at Dollar Tree as a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Westbank, British Columbia. Support store operations and customer experiences.
This full-time position assists the Store Manager with daily store functions and associate leadership. Key work includes merchandise receipt, freight flow, sales-floor effectiveness, and inventory presentation. Strong communication, retail experience, and management experience are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
- Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
- Process DSD merchandise receipts and returns
- Manage freight flow using productivity standards
- Plan and maintain sales-effective merchandising presentations
Requirements:
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Prior management experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
- Strong written skills required
- Lift 30 to 50 pounds and perform frequent physical tasks
