Help BMO customers choose financial solutions through needs-based advice, lending knowledge, and personalized service at 180 Kingston Road East. Support customer conversations across branch and digital channels.
As a Personal Banker, you will assess personal and small business needs, recommend tailored banking solutions, and build lasting customer relationships. You will support everyday banking, retail investments, lending, home financing, and digital banking conversations. The role also contributes to business results through appointments, community outreach, and consultative sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects
- Complete needs assessments and recommend tailored financial solutions
- Generate appointments and build community customer relationships
- Make credit recommendations for personal lending transactions
- Support transactions and resolve customer questions or issues
Requirements:
- Two to three years of relevant experience typically required
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent education and experience
- Working knowledge of banking, investments, lending, and small business solutions
- Appropriate lending qualifications and designations
- Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
