Advanced Excel and portfolio administration define this Investment Counsel Intern opportunity at PICTON Investments. Gain hands-on exposure within an experienced investment counselling team.
As an intern, you will support Associates and Investment Counsellors across wealth management activities. The position suits a proactive, detail-oriented student enrolled in third or fourth year. Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or combined programs are preferred. You will contribute to client onboarding, portfolio administration, reporting, and operational improvements while developing practical investment experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support administrative activities across the wealth management platform
- Coordinate client onboarding, account setup, documentation, and asset transfers
- Prepare meeting materials, portfolio reports, and ad-hoc analyses
- Reconcile prices, positions, and transactions across systems
- Improve workflows through Excel-based automation initiatives
Requirements:
- Enrollment in third or fourth year undergraduate or graduate studies
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and Power Query
- Interest in wealth management and portfolio administration
- Working knowledge of AI tools and practical applications
- Strong organization, communication, initiative, and composure
Build investment counselling experience through Excel, portfolio administration, client onboarding, and reporting support at PICTON Investments.
