Lead day-to-day sort operations as an Operations Supervisor at FedEx Express. Support our Safety Above All Culture while guiding staff in effective package handling and training.
In this frontline supervisor role, you'll oversee Cargo Handlers and ensure compliance with FedEx policies. You must possess strong mentoring abilities and foster a collaborative environment among team members. Your leadership will directly impact service quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily sort operations within the station
- Mentor and coach Cargo Handlers effectively
- Ensure compliance with FedEx policies and regulations
- Address service failures and implement solutions
- Communicate clearly with team members and resolve conflicts
Requirements:
- College degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years of supervisory experience in a related field
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
