Lead warehouse drivers, coordinate daily deliveries, and prioritize safety across year-round, full-time distribution operations with Vail Resorts.
As Lead Driver, you supervise driving teams, assign routes and tasks, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining compliance. You coordinate palletized shipments, operate forklifts, organize transfers, and address store delivery concerns. The position also includes driver coaching, vehicle oversight, records management, and warehouse support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign daily driving tasks and review driver logs
- Coordinate palletized store deliveries, loading, and shipping
- Oversee vehicle walkthroughs, maintenance, and log books
- Train drivers and coach performance improvements
- Promote safety protocols and adapt schedules to weather
Requirements:
- One to two years of related work experience
- Clean driver's license for oversized winter vehicle operation
- Strong time management and leadership skills
- Independent decision making and extensive problem solving
- Basic computer and Microsoft systems knowledge
