Advance your career with IAMGOLD as a Process Control Technologist at our Côté Gold Mine. This role is pivotal for ensuring safe, reliable operation of complex mining processes.
As a member of the Côté Gold Mill Maintenance Engineering team, you will engage in hands-on process control system optimization and maintenance. Your work will impact operational excellence and contribute to sustainability initiatives in mining. Adhere to a 7/7 or 14/14 schedule, collaborating on projects that advance technology within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance process control systems for safety and efficiency
- Perform analysis to identify areas for improvement
- Configure interlocks, alarms, and operator displays
- Provide technical support and tune control loops
- Participate in process modifications and commissioning
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Process Control
- Minimum 2 years of industrial experience
- Proficiency with PLCs and process control software
- In-depth knowledge of instrumentation and electrical systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
