Ensure resource integrity as a Junior Mine Geologist at SSR Mining's Seabee Gold Operation. This role emphasizes geological oversight, mapping, and collaboration in a remote camp setting.
At SSR Mining, you will report to the Supervisor of Resource Development, contributing crucial geological input for grade control and stope design. This position requires a balance of independent work and teamwork, with a focus on conducting precise geological mapping and daily sampling activities for informed production decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide geological input for grade control and stope design
- Conduct geological mapping and interpretation of geotechnical data
- Participate in geological projects and integrate structural data
- Maintain communication with the Mining Department
- Assist in identifying ore/waste boundaries for mining decisions
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Geology; Professional Geoscientist registration preferred
- Minimum of one year mining experience required
- Exposure to narrow vein mining is an asset
- Knowledge of Leapfrog or MX Deposit is beneficial
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
