IHAL is hiring a Personal Support Worker passionate about client-centered care in Newmarket. You'll assist with daily care and provide emotional support to enhance clients' lives.
Join In-Home Assisted Living Inc. (IHAL) where your compassion makes a difference. This part-time role, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, involves supporting clients with daily living activities, home maintenance, and companionship. We appreciate skilled professionals committed to client safety and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help clients with personal grooming and hygiene
- Facilitate safe transfers and mobility support
- Conduct light housekeeping to ensure safety
- Prepare and serve meals aligned with dietary preferences
- Document care observations and maintain daily reports
Requirements:
- Must hold a PSW certificate
- At least 1 year of PSW experience essential
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid certification required
- Strong communication and mobile device competence
