Support therapeutic programming and client recreation goals as a Therapy Assistant at Rouleau Manor during evening shifts. Help deliver interventions that enrich daily life.
This temporary full-time Therapy Assistant works under Recreation Therapist direction within the Recreation Therapy team. The position provides therapeutic programming to clients, supporting safety, functional independence, leisure pursuits, and mental health. The position reports to a Director of Care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic programming under Recreation Therapist direction
- Support client life enrichment and recreation goals
- Deliver interventions that maximize safety and functional independence
- Encourage leisure pursuits and reduce boredom
- Complete other related duties as required
Requirements:
- Graduate from an Accredited Therapy Assistant program
- Previous experience in a therapeutic setting is essential
- Computer experience is preferred
- Availability for evening shifts from 1400 to 2215
- Ability to work temporary full-time through March 31, 2027
