Tyson Media Productions (TMP) is a Vancouver-based entertainment company renowned for producing captivating unscripted reality and documentary series reaching global audiences. Established in 2021 by Tyson Hepburn, TMP specializes in bringing unique, character-driven concepts to life on screen. TMP's flagship series, 'Pets & Pickers,' is an original Bell Media production airing on Crave, Animal Planet, and Discovery. Now filming its third season, the series has successfully expanded to Warner Bros/Discovery+ and Animal Planet USA.
Role Description
This is a hybrid, full-time position based in Vancouver, BC, with opportunities to work remotely part of the time. As a Social Media Manager/YouTube Specialist, you will oversee the execution of social media strategies to engage audiences and build brand presence. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing social media accounts, editing content, creating compelling content strategies, optimizing YouTube presence, analyzing performance metrics, and actively engaging with the online community to foster connections.
Qualifications
- Experience with Avid or similar editing tools
- Knowledge of Adobe products
- Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) techniques
- Strong Communication and Writing skills for effective content creation and audience engagement
- Experience in developing effective Content Strategies aligned with brand goals
- Familiarity with YouTube and other social media platforms, including analytics and best practices
- Knowledge of video editing and graphic design tools is a plus
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and adapt to a hybrid work environment
- Passion for storytelling, entertainment, and digital media
