Jumpstart your career with Ryder as an Operations Management Trainee in Mississauga, ON. This full-time role focuses on enhancing customer satisfaction, cross-functional collaboration, and cost management.
As an integral part of Ryder, you will support shop management and work closely with Operations, Sales, and Asset Management teams. This is a full-time, permanent position where effective communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills are vital. You'll also gain hands-on experience in customer service and management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in customer relationship management and issue resolution
- Coordinate with rental department for maximum utilization
- Partner with Sales for new business opportunities
- Manage running costs while ensuring policy adherence
- Oversee vehicle maintenance scheduling and updates
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1+ years in customer service preferred
- Strong PC skills, especially in spreadsheets
- Basic understanding of business finance and metrics
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
