As a key member of the Earthworks team, the Remote Dozer Operator plays a vital role in supporting production, infrastructure construction, and environmental activities. You will utilize your expertise to operate both conventional and tele-remote dozers while adhering to strict safety standards. This position requires collaboration with diverse teams to achieve operational goals efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate dozers for mass excavation and earthmoving
- Maintain and construct haul roads and dump sites
- Utilize remote operating systems for enhanced safety
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and crew
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report issues
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years operating large dozers
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence required
- Relevant equipment certifications preferred
- Strong hazard recognition and communication skills
- Ability to work at a remote mine in extreme conditions
