Lead pre-owned vehicle operations at Kingston Kia in Kingston, Ontario, using appraisal expertise and market-based pricing to drive department performance.
This hands-on Used Car Manager role oversees inventory, profitability, team performance, and customer satisfaction. You will evaluate trade-ins, source vehicles through OpenLane and EBlock, manage aging, and coordinate reconditioning. The position also requires OMVIC compliance, Ontario disclosure knowledge, and accurate performance reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Appraise trade-ins and decide retail, wholesale, or auction disposition
- Source quality inventory through wholesale channels and private purchases
- Set retail pricing using live market data and pricing tools
- Coordinate service and detail teams for front-line readiness
- Report inventory, sales, profitability, and departmental KPIs
Requirements:
- Successful automotive management experience, preferably used vehicle operations
- Strong vehicle appraisal, purchasing, pricing, and inventory knowledge
- Experience with OpenLane, EBlock, and market pricing tools
- Leadership experience developing and motivating sales teams
- Valid Ontario Driver's Licence with clean driving record
