Sobeys Inc. is seeking a skilled Registered Pharmacy Technician for our extensive pharmacy team. You will directly impact community health by preparing and processing prescriptions, ensuring accuracy, and assisting with vaccinations as needed. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, process, and compound prescriptions accurately
- Transcribe verbal prescriptions from healthcare practitioners
- Conduct final checks ensuring prescription authenticity
- Provide vaccinations/injections as allowed by local regulations
- Confirm accuracy of patient health information records
Requirements:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician completion required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Work independently in a fast-paced setting
- Licensed by provincial college of pharmacy
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
