Lead guest service at Ancient Cedars Spa as Assistant Spa Manager, applying hospitality leadership and spa operations expertise at Wickaninnish Inn.
At this family-owned Relais & Châteaux property, you will support the Spa Manager and lead the team when absent. The role emphasizes personalized service, human resources administration, budgeting, scheduling, training, and guest concern resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure personalized service meets Relais & Châteaux, AAA, and Forbes standards
- Act as Spa Manager during their absence
- Support scheduling, training, payroll, reviews, and performance management
- Maintain spa cleanliness, equipment, storage, and working spaces
- Respond to guest assistance requests and concerns
Requirements:
- Minimum two years' management experience in a luxury facility
- Previous Massage Practitioner experience and 1000 massage education hours
- Superior human resources, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of budgeting, financial statements, cost management, and inventory
- Flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, and shift work
