Support personal injury litigation at Lerners LLP using file management, court-document drafting, and careful client communication in a hybrid work model.
Lerners seeks a Law Clerk for its Personal Injury Group, with over three years of similar experience preferred. The position supports tort and accident benefit claims through drafting, medical record summaries, productions, undertakings, disbursement accounts, and hearing preparation. Technology experience and sound judgment remain important.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage personal injury files involving tort and accident benefit claims
- Liaise between the legal team and clients
- Draft correspondence, applications, and court documents
- Summarize medical records and create medical chronologies
- Prepare hearings, productions, undertakings, and disbursement accounts
Requirements:
- Law Clerk Diploma or equivalent education and experience
- At least three years as a litigation Law Clerk
- Personal Injury experience strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and independent working abilities
