Apply analytical skills and attention to detail as a Health Information Management Practitioner supporting meaningful health data insights. Work Tuesday through Thursday, 08:30 to 16:30.
At Northern Health, the Health Information Management Practitioner performs technical health information functions under general supervision. You will interpret and abstract data, score injury data, enter information into computers, and compile statistical data. The work supports quality care across communities through accurate information handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and abstract health information data
- Score data by injury and enter information
- Compile and analyze statistical data
- Generate directed reports and communicate data interpretations
- Process approved data release requests
Requirements:
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to retrieve and interpret data
- Ability to communicate with internal personnel
- Ability to communicate with external personnel
- Availability Tuesday through Thursday during daytime hours
Support Northern Health through accurate data interpretation, statistical analysis, reporting, and approved health information releases.
