Drive strategic growth as a Senior Category Development Manager in Disposable Packaging. Utilize your expertise in procurement and category management to enhance business performance and supplier relationships.
This role requires strong leadership in category management with a focus on optimizing supplier performance and cost savings. You will develop a five-year strategic category plan and build relationships with key suppliers. Collaboration across functions is essential to identify new opportunities and implement improvements in procurement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the strategic development of category plans
- Build and maintain supplier relationships for Foodbuy
- Conduct market analysis for new initiatives
- Oversee project management of assigned category activities
- Lead quarterly performance reviews with stakeholders
Requirements:
- 7-10 years in purchasing and supply chain management
- Post-secondary education in purchasing or related field
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong analytical abilities and strategic planning
- Proficiency in MS Office and database management
