Enhance property maintenance with RioCan as a Building Operator. This role requires managing inspections, performing maintenance, and ensuring safety for a portfolio of properties.
As a Building Operator, you will be part of RioCan's commitment to a clean and safe environment for tenants and visitors. This full-time position includes rotating shifts from Monday to Friday and after-hours on-call responsibilities. Your key tasks involve preventive maintenance, liaising with stakeholders, and addressing HVAC issues while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular property inspections for safety compliance
- Respond promptly to tenant HVAC-related calls
- Perform predictive and preventative maintenance tasks
- Coordinate contractor access and monitor work completion
- Communicate efficiently with tenants and contractors
Requirements:
- G Level Driver's License required
- Relevant experience in property maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of hand and power tools necessary
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong customer service and communication skills
