This full-time position involves rotating shifts that offer the chance to work closely with a dedicated team in ensuring material quality and compliance. You will be responsible for inspecting incoming and outgoing materials and addressing any quality concerns promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of materials for hazards and quality
- Ensure adherence to both company and customer quality standards
- Oversee material sorting and handling within the yard
- Perform daily quality checks and inspections
- Safely direct and manage inbound truck movements
Requirements:
- Prior experience in materials inspection is highly favorable
- Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metal properties
- Experience with inspection tools and techniques
- Ability to manage physical tasks effectively
- Competence in using computer software for tracking
