Teach Grade 11 and 12 math, physics, and chemistry at Oxford Learning Waterdown during part-time after-school and evening sessions.
This tutor role supports senior high school students with curriculum material, homework, and test or exam preparation. You will explain complex concepts clearly, strengthen problem-solving skills, and encourage independent learning. Oxford Learning teaching methods and structured program plans guide instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Grade 11 and 12 math, physics, and chemistry
- Explain complex concepts and develop problem-solving skills
- Guide homework, curriculum work, and test preparation
- Encourage critical thinking and effective study habits
- Provide a positive, supportive learning environment
Requirements:
- Strong academic background in math or science
- Degree pursued or completed in a related field
- Comfort teaching senior-level high school concepts
- Excellent communication and clear explanation skills
- Patient, encouraging, student-focused approach
Support senior students through math and science instruction using clear communication, structured planning, and Oxford Learning teaching methods.
