Maxxit Systems Inc. is hiring a Senior Designer to lead innovative architectural projects in Toronto or Chicago. This full-time role drives collaboration and design excellence across teams.
In this Senior Designer position, you will be responsible for overseeing architectural design from concept to fabrication. You'll work with cross-functional teams to produce comprehensive design documentation and lead projects within defined constraints. Your mentorship will be crucial for junior team members to hone their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers and contractors on design feasibility
- Produce intricate drawings and 3D models for projects
- Develop balanced design solutions addressing technical requirements
- Supervise the quality assurance of design prototypes
- Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards
Requirements:
- Degree in architecture or related field is essential
- 5-7 years of relevant design experience required
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Strong grasp of architectural materials and construction methods
- Proven skills in managing design projects effectively
