Install audiovisual systems in Edmonton using cable pulling, connector installation, and electronic schematic interpretation. Travel to client sites as required.
This Technician Installation 2 position supports audiovisual projects through hands-on installation and testing. Responsibilities include mounting projects, metal fabrication, rack wiring, and projector support structures. You will use hand and power tools, understand basic signal flow, and communicate job site status daily. The role also includes mentoring Level I Technicians and coordinating equipment concerns with manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull cable and install connectors for audiovisual projects
- Read electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
- Complete basic fabrication and rack wiring tasks
- Test point to point system functionality
- Communicate job site status to the Project Manager
Requirements:
- Two years of audiovisual installation experience preferred
- Safe, efficient use of hand and power tools
- Basic computer knowledge and signal flow understanding
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
