This full-time Senior Commercial Property Underwriter role offers a unique blend of technical underwriting and opportunities for leadership. You will underwrite new and renewal business focused on risks up to $20 million in total insured value. Collaborate with assessment teams and maintain critical relationships with brokers and partners as you contribute to the team's expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwrite new and renewal commercial property business
- Manage complex risks, including multi-location portfolios
- Develop claims-mitigation strategies for underwriting decisions
- Collaborate with liability and construction underwriting teams
- Maintain compliance with documentation standards
Requirements:
- 5–8 years of commercial property underwriting experience
- MGA experience preferred, with flexibility for primary-market underwriters
- Hands-on with property schedules and complex commercial risks
- Self-starter attitude with a growth mindset
- Familiarity with EPIC or Policy Works is a plus
