Altitude Aerospace is seeking a Project Manager who is eager to join a dynamic, flexible, and fast-growing company based in Montreal.We are currently launching a major project to support one of our clients in the development of a new aircraft. With over 150 engineers based in Montreal, Toulouse, and Portland, we support leading industry players in the design, development, and certification of aircraft.WHY JOIN THIS PROJECT?Contribute to a highly strategic program with significant societal impact.Collaborate directly with international and multidisciplinary teams.Grow within an agile, flexible, human-scale structure where your ideas will truly make a difference.Join the project from day one: you will be part of an ambitious technical program where process definition, tooling, and ways of working are key elements of your responsibilities.YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating and steering engineering activities:Plan, structure, and execute complex technical projects following best practices in project management;Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve objectives at each project phase;Manage project milestones, including PDR, CDR, and other formal reviews;Ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders;Identify and mitigate risks while maintaining focus on deliverables;Prepare and present progress reports (schedule, budget, risks);Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.YOUR QUALIFICATIONS :You have a degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering or equivalent work experience;PMP certification is considered a plus.You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering project management;You have a good knowledge of project planning and monitoring tools such as MS Project;Strong proficiency in Excel within a project management context: lookups, conditional formulas, dependency tracking, creation of pivot tables, basic automation, and development of tracking templates.You are proficient in written and spoken French and English;
