The Cogir Foundation supports projects and causes grouped under four main pillars: youth, seniors, cultural diversity, and the environment.POSITION DESCRIPTION:We are currently looking for a concierge for the South Shore of Montreal, full-time and on-call for emergencies. Are you versatile, good with your hands and have a strong sense of organization? You are the person we need As a member of the maintenance team, the concierge's main function is to ensure the general maintenance of the building.ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Able to change water heatersAble to lay floating floorAll other related tasksCarry out site maintenance according to the frequency planned for this purpose or when requiredClean and carry out tasks related to the maintenance of floors and carpets in common areasEnsure maintenance of property spaces and systemsEnsure security and compliance with building regulationsEnsure the cleanliness of the working environment is maintainedEnsure the maintenance and cleanliness of the premisesKnowledge of fire safety rulesKnowledge of plumbing and electricityKnowledge of ventilation systemMaintain the grounds, indoor parking, storage spacesSee to the maintenance and monitoring of equipment and mechanical systemsTaking out the trashWash windows at main and secondary entrancesConstructionActively participate in various company committees - Know and apply company policies and proceduresClear and salt the entrancesCommunicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superiorMake service callsMinor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superiorPreventive maintenance on equipmentRemove snow and ice on sidewalksEXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:A minimum of 3 to 5 years experienceCustomer service experience an assetExperience in construction an assetBENEFITS:Salary to be discussedFree parkingVacationCareer OpportunityPortableCompetitive salaryJOB STATUS:Permanent: Full TimeJOB SCHEDULE:Day time
