Elevate your VFX career as the 3D Rigging Lead at Rodeo FX in Montreal. This critical role involves designing advanced rigs and supervising a dedicated team of artists.
As a 3D Rigging Lead, you will shape the artistic vision by collaborating closely with CG and animation supervisors. Your skills in Maya, Python, and anatomy will ensure the creation of fluid and expressive rigs. You will maintain technical quality and deliver exceptional results while leading and mentoring rigging artists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design advanced rigs for characters and objects
- Supervise rigging artists and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with CG and animation teams
- Optimize scripts for efficient production
- Train artists on departmental tools and workflows
Requirements:
- 3+ years as a Rigging Lead in VFX
- Proficiency in Maya and Python for rigging
- Strong understanding of anatomy and rigging techniques
- Ability to prioritize and work autonomously
- Knowledge of facial rig solutions is a plus
