Mavericks is hiring for a mature, long-term barista position at our busy Jam Factory location.
We're looking for someone with cafe or restaurant experience who wants to become a key member of our team. You must be available to work weekends; this role could be part- or full-time.
The position starts at $21/hour + tips during the 3-month probation period, with a guaranteed compensation review by the 4 month mark. As you take on more responsibility and hours, we want your pay to grow with you. With a small but mighty team, you take home more of your tips, which means your total wage (hourly + tips) often ranges from $30-50+ per hour.
You'll learn all about coffee, ice cream, hospitality, and the systems behind running a small food business, while working alongside owner-operator Daniel, who's worked in Michelin-starred kitchens around the world.
This is a great opportunity to secure long-term work on the island with a clear path for growth.
