Apply MIG welding and structural steel fitting skills in an on-site Welder-Fitter position focused on accurate metal fabrication. Work occurs at the physical location, with no remote option.
This Welder-Fitter position involves interpreting welding specifications, blueprints, drawings, manuals, and processes. You will operate manual, semi-automatic, or automated welding equipment while assembling structural metal sections. The work includes examining welds, determining materials, and installing fabricated components in final products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret welding process specifications and engineering drawings
- Operate manual, semi-automatic, or automated welding equipment
- Examine welds against required standards and specifications
- Assemble and fit plates and sections into structures
- Install fabricated components in final products
Requirements:
- English language ability
- MIG welding experience
- Structural metal or steel specialization
- Experience is an asset
- Steel-toed boots and welding helmet
Use MIG welding, blueprint interpretation, and fitting skills to fabricate structural steel components accurately on site.
