Design HVAC and plumbing systems onsite in KWG using AutoCAD and Revit. Support building projects from schematic design through construction administration.
This Intermediate Mechanical Designer role sits within a consulting engineering firm serving commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects. You will prepare layouts and specifications, coordinate with multidisciplinary consultants, and assist with calculations, sizing, and equipment selection. The position supports continued technical development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical building system design
- Prepare drawings, layouts, and specifications using AutoCAD or Revit
- Support schematic design, detailed design, and construction administration
- Coordinate with electrical, structural, and architectural consultants
- Attend site visits and support field reviews as required
Requirements:
- Three to six years' mechanical design experience
- Building consulting environment experience
- Mechanical Engineering diploma or degree, or related education
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
- Familiarity with OBC, ASHRAE, and applicable standards
