Own technical SEO and AI search strategy remotely for Blacksmith Agency, serving clients across Canada, South Africa, and the USA.
As SEO and AI Search Manager, you lead search for B2B and growing-brand clients. You set technical roadmaps, content priorities, and ranking narratives. Your work spans organic search, Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity. Paid media remains separate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own technical SEO roadmaps for client websites
- Improve crawlability, indexation, speed, schema, and architecture
- Set keyword, on-page, and content priorities
- Improve visibility across AI and organic search
- Report through GA4 and Search Console
Requirements:
- Three-plus years of hands-on SEO experience
- Experience completing audits and implementing fixes
- Fluency with Search Console, GA4, and Screaming Frog
- Ahrefs or Semrush experience
- Agency experience across several clients simultaneously
