It's the essential element that strengthens concrete, keeping it from cracking and ensuring that buildings and infrastructure stand tall and strong for years to come.In Nova Scotia, we have contributed to tons of projects, literally Our expertise spans a wide range of sectors, including institutional, industrial, civil engineering, commercial, and residential.About the Role - Your main responsibilities will include:Produce placing drawings according to structural drawings;Review drawings to ensure there are no errors and that they comply with Canadian and government standards;Release bar lists to be used for the manufacturing of reinforcing steel, including length, diameter, and bending requirements;Monitor drawing submission schedules according to the project schedule;Communicate regularly with our Technical Coordinators and Project Managers;Perform other administrative tasks.About You – The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:Degree or diploma in technical engineering, architecture, or building design;5-10 years of experience in a similar role;Minimum 5 years of professional experience specifically in rebar detailing;Proficiency in AutoCAD, RebarCAD, or Revit is required;Strong attention to detail, ability to work well in a team, and excellent prioritization skills.What we offer :Full insurance coverage (health, dental, and vision) from day one;Group RRSP with employer contribution (4%);Annual wage increases based on both company and individual performance and annual bonus program;Telemedicine program and employee assistance program from day one;Company Wellness Plan Reimbursement: $600 annually for physical activities to promote health and wellness;Training offered & advancement opportunities;Paid vacation and 5 paid personal days for christmas time;5 paid sick days and statutory holidays;Years of service recognition program,Corporate discounts (ski resorts, golf, car rentals, furniture stores, etc.)AGF is an equal-opportunity employer and is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
