Fonemed is expanding its team of Nurse Practitioners to provide patient care in a virtual setting. This role entails diagnosing conditions, prescribing medications, performing diagnostic tests, and offering follow-up care. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with other healthcare professionals and utilize your expertise to enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess client presentation and determine care urgency
- Independently diagnose and prescribe within professional standards
- Coordinate treatment plans with healthcare professionals
- Communicate findings and treatment options to clients
- Advocate for clients in their healthcare journey
Requirements:
- Graduation from a Nurse Practitioner program
- Current licensure or willingness to obtain in Newfoundland and Labrador
- Preferred 1 year of NP experience, especially in urgent care
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Proficient in technology for virtual care delivery
