Drive community engagement as a Community Relations Consultant based remotely with Hydro One. Your role involves compiling stakeholder databases, managing communications, and organizing public events.
In this full-time position, you will leverage your public affairs and corporate communication skills. Key responsibilities include researching community interests, preparing essential communication documents, and ensuring effective information exchange. You'll influence municipal and provincial relations while addressing community issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile and maintain a community/municipal profile database
- Prepare documents to educate stakeholders about Hydro One projects
- Organize public consultation activities and events
- Respond to public and media inquiries regarding projects
- Manage communication logs with key stakeholders
Requirements:
- Degree in communications or related field
- 8-10 years of public affairs experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with municipal and provincial politics
- Proven experience in community relations strategies
