This Assistant Store Manager oversees daily retail business operations and supervises one to two people. The position involves merchandise procurement, revenue monitoring, staffing decisions, customer issue resolution, and computerized systems. Candidates need secondary school graduation and at least five years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage staff and assign daily duties
- Procure merchandise for resale
- Monitor budgets, revenues, and expenses
- Recruit, hire, and supervise staff
- Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
Requirements:
- Secondary school graduation certificate
- Five years or more of experience
- English language ability
- Point of sale system knowledge
- Inventory control and bookkeeping software knowledge
