Your New RoleThe Building Engineer will be responsible for the safe and efficient operations of a retail and office facility. You will be reporting in to the Operations Manager. The ideal candidate has experience as a Building Operator / Engineer on commercial and retail properties. Responsibilities will include: Performing repairs as well as regular and scheduled maintenance. Conduct regular inspections and implement preventative maintenance programs.Ensure WorkSafe BC regulations are met and Enforce WorkSafeBC safety standards. Maintain records of maintenance, inspections and equipment performance. Provide leadership to your team, stakeholders, and clients. What you'll need to succeed4th Class Power Engineer Certification. Experience with HVAC, DDC, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems. Prior building engineer / building operator experience.Strong communication skills.
