ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Manager of Open Top Touring, the Guest Experience Supervisor is a guest-facing role, responsible for leading a team of Guest Experience Agents and Driver Guides, including fostering a positive team culture and ensuring the Company goals and values are upheld. Position is contingent upon successful completion of training and acquisition of Alberta Class 4 Driver's License. Assist with the management and upholding of Pursuit's Hospitality Standards at the Brewster Transportation Centre (Depot).Lead by example to create a positive work environment, ensuring staff follow policies and deliver excellent guest experiencesPerform same duties as employees under supervision, including Guest Experience Agents and Driver GuidesWork closely with the Open Top Touring Manager and collaborate with teams from other lines of business within Pursuit to ensure smooth operations and effective communicationAssist with training and development of staff alongside the Open Top Touring Manager and Driver Guide Supervisor, including leading training sessions on Brewster and Pursuit productsMaintain reference guides, scripts, and tools to align with current business expectations, while providing coaching, feedback, and support to ensure team members' ongoing development and alignment with business goalsMaintain clear and professional communication with leadership in both Transportation and Pursuit, ensuring concise and effective handover messages and collaborationCoordinate daily operations, solve problems, and report issues promptlyMaintain clean, organized, and well-stocked workspaces by ensuring that materials and supplies are up-to-date. Facilitate the team's effective performance by placing orders or communicating supply needs to relevant personnelServe as the escalation point for customer service issues, providing efficient and effective resolution and subsequent follow up and reporting as requiredMaintain and enforce company policies and safety guidelines, ensuring staff compliance through regular training, coaching, retraining, and disciplinary actions when necessaryExecute all work in a safe, professional manner in compliance with Health & Safety and Pursuit's Always Honest PolicyConduct evaluations of team members throughout the season and provide feedbackOversee cash handling and daily reconciliations, providing support to GE team where required. Complete monthly POS reconciliations and facilitate secure drops.Promote a positive team environment through well-being checks, recognition, and team-building activities. Recognize achievements through innovative ways of rewarding staff, aside from Peak AwardsWork varied shifts to support different departments within Transportation and maintain a presence at all operating locations.
