Support seniors' daily care and dignity at Yee Hong, using personal hygiene, interpersonal, and resident-centred care skills. Shifts include days, evenings, and nights.
This Personal Support Worker position serves residents through safe, respectful assistance with daily activities and personal hygiene. You will address physical, social, and emotional needs while following residents' rights, government standards, and Yee Hong's mission and philosophy. Full-time, part-time, and casual schedules are available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities and personal hygiene
- Support physical, social, and emotional resident needs
- Apply Yee Hong's resident-centred care approach
- Follow relevant government standards and residents' rights
- Work alternate shifts when operational needs require
Requirements:
- Approved Ontario Personal Support Worker course or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
- Initiative, problem-solving, and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Chinese conversation skills considered an asset
Use compassionate personal care, safe practices, and strong communication to support residents' daily well-being as a Yee Hong Personal Support Worker.
