Build hands-on finance experience with Volvo Financial Services Canada in Mississauga through cash management, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
This 12-month paid Finance Intern placement supports accounting operations within a global financial services organization. You will apply academic knowledge while developing analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills. Collaboration spans Operations, Asset Management, Sales, and Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post payments and process NSF chargebacks accurately
- Complete bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Investigate discrepancies and support timely resolution
- Prepare reconciliation schedules for month-end close
- Contribute to accounting process automation projects
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in Accounting and Finance
- Interest in financial operations and analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to financial detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and formulas
Develop cash application, reconciliation, and analysis experience while supporting accurate financial information at Volvo Financial Services Canada.
