Bayview is seeking an enthusiastic Parts Technician to enhance our customer service operations. This position is vital in evaluating customer needs, processing orders, and managing inventory efficiently. You will receive specialized on-the-job training and have opportunities for ongoing personal development to excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and recommend necessary parts based on customer needs
- Answer sales calls and assist in generating quotes
- Handle incoming and outgoing freight shipments
- Look up parts in inventory or order from suppliers
- Provide post-sale assistance and warranty explanations
Requirements:
- Experience in Medium/Heavy Duty trucks or automotive
- Strong product and technical knowledge in the industry
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Availability for alternating Saturday mornings
