Russel Metals, a leading metals distribution company, is seeking two dedicated individuals for their Nisku location. This permanent role requires a minimum of three years of experience with plasma and oxy fuel torches, along with proficiency in reading measurements and safety documents. Candidates will also undergo pre-employment testing due to the safety-sensitive nature of the work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut and package steel parts per customer specifications
- Inspect and measure material using precision instruments
- Ensure optimal equipment operation and pre-shift inspections
- Perform routine maintenance on machines
- Adhere to safety protocols while meeting deadlines
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of plasma/oxy fuel torch experience
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work rotating shifts
