Job SummaryThis is a critical role working as a member of the FP&A team. This role will complete complex financial planning and analysis requirements, offering accurate reporting and thorough analysis of key business information and drivers. The Senior Financial Analyst is a tactical reporter of the business, with a financial focus that extends to all operating areas of the business, reporting to the Manager, FP&A. The ideal candidate is a professional who thrives on using advanced tools for finance systems, visual dashboarding & data mining. Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis position is for senior-level finance professionals that are looking for a fast-paced work environment with ample opportunity for growth and learningPerform financial forecasting and budgeting to support business planning and decision-making processesResponsible for developing financial models, costing models, scenario analysis models, etc. to analyze product profitability using facts, data and financial analysis toolsLead in the creation of financial, operational & executive dashboards using Power BIAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft suite softwarePartners with cross-functional teams in identifying cost efficiencies for the business and evaluating cost managementCompile, analyze and distribute summary information relating to KPI's & other metricsCoordinate the implementation of processes that facilitate a more efficient month-end review processEnsuring the accurate completion of monthly financial analysis for review by the ManagerAssist in the implementation and development of new systems and processes Position DetailsFull-time employmentIn-Office environmentShare Purchase Plan - opportunity to buy company shares through payroll at a 100% matchGroup Benefits offered – health, dental, etc. TMGNY Job Requirements: Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst or 2+ years of experience as a Senior Financial AnalystUniversity Degree in Commerce or Business Administration with a focus on finance, accounting, or economics. Equivalent education or experience may be consideredProfessional Accounting Designation (CPA) or equivalent, or working towards the accounting designationProven ability to be self-driven, capable of adapting to change and simultaneously managing multiple tasks/ projects/ assignmentsAbility to work with and manage confidential information and use independent judgmentProven ability to work using Power BI, Tableau, etc.Strong verbal and written English communication skillsKnowledge in preparing Power Point presentations for senior management PreferredPrevious experience in corporate, manufacturing and/or supply chain logistics environment would be considered an assetExperience working with WMS OR TMS software Apply
