At IMP Aerospace & Defence in Halifax, NS, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance of the Cormorant helicopters crucial for Canadian SAR operations. Candidates should have a robust background in aviation maintenance and hands-on experience with aircraft systems. The job encompasses servicing, inspections, and potential travel to various main operating bases. Your role may also involve supervising and training new employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute first and second level maintenance tasks
- Perform ramp checks and fueling operations
- Conduct flights to assist in maintenance needs
- Train and supervise junior maintenance staff
- Keep hangar and work areas organized and safe
Requirements:
- Graduate of an aircraft maintenance course
- At least 3 years of experience in aviation
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License required
- Must meet CGP eligibility standards
