As a Casual Residential Child and Youth Care Worker, you will play a central role in the daily lives of children dealing with developmental disabilities. The position requires relevant certifications, including First Aid/CPR and NVCI or MANDT Training. A clear Criminal Record Check and a health clearance from a physician are mandatory parts of the application process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer nurturing support in daily activities
- Assist in developing and following care plans
- Foster a positive and enriching environment
- Maintain open communication with stakeholders
- Record observations and report on youth's progress
Requirements:
- Diploma or experience in child/youth care
- NVCI or MANDT Training certification
- Class 5 BC Driver's License
- Completed Criminal Record Check
- First Aid/CPR certified
