The successful candidate will oversee the transition from Quick Books to a more robust real estate accounting platform (likely Newstar/REMS) and ensure all financial processes, controls, and reporting frameworks are properly implemented from day one.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and manage the full accounting function for a new real estate entityLead the migration from Quick Books to a real estate-specific systemEstablish financial controls, reporting structures, and month-end processesSupport transaction-related financial requirements tied to asset salesWork closely with senior leadership and external advisors TMGCTJob Requirements:QualificationsProven experience as a Controller or Director of Finance in real estateCPA DesignationStrong understanding of development, construction, or property accountingExperience implementing or migrating to real estate accounting systems (Newstar REMS an asset)Ability to operate in a fast-paced, build-from-scratch environmentStrong communication and leadership skills Additional Information: This role is for a current vacancy Apply
