Lead fresh food preparation and customer service at Farm Boy as an Assistant Chef Manager supporting daily department excellence. Hands-on leadership shapes every service experience.
Partner with the Department Manager to deliver exceptional food and service experiences. This supervisory role emphasizes coaching, training, cooking, merchandising, and operational support. You will help build an engaged team while maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare fresh offerings for hot and cold bars
- Cook food at grill stations and department counters
- Coach, motivate, train, and recognize team members
- Support staffing, merchandising, rotation, and cleanliness
- Manage inventory, ordering, scheduling, invoicing, and payroll
Requirements:
- Post-secondary Culinary Management program completion
- Minimum one year supervisory or management experience
- Passion for exceptional customer service
- Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and mathematical skills
- Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays
