Lead restaurant service and daily operations as Assistant General Manager at Old Yale Brewing, supporting an engaging guest experience and team performance.
The Assistant General Manager works closely with the General Manager to uphold service standards and develop staff. This hands-on role supports restaurant operations, sales, merchandising, inventory, scheduling, and quality control. Craft beer knowledge and passion are assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain exceptional guest experiences and overall guest flow
- Coach team members to strengthen skills and performance
- Assist hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and payroll
- Support inventory management, merchandising, and retail sales
- Ensure front-of-house cleanliness and regulatory compliance
Requirements:
- Two years of related restaurant experience in a similar role
- Well-rounded knowledge of restaurant operations
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions
- Evening, weekend, and Serving It Right availability
