As an entry-level Recreation Worker, you'll be responsible for planning and executing recreational programs that cater to the diverse needs of clients. Collaborate closely with families and interdisciplinary teams to ensure a client-focused approach. Your creativity and organizational skills will help maintain a vibrant program that benefits mental and physical health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and organize recreational activities for diverse clientele
- Maintain records and documentation of program activities
- Engage with community partners for enriched experiences
- Address crisis situations with effective intervention strategies
- Ensure activities adhere to client medical guidelines
Requirements:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Current Food Handler Training Certificate Level 1 or willingness to obtain
- Two years recent experience in healthcare setting
- Valid Manitoba Class 5 Drivers License
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications
