As a Dispatcher, you will report to the Operations Manager, handling propane deliveries while providing support on customer inquiries. Your expertise in dispatching and logistics will contribute to effective planning and workload forecasting. Communication with drivers and account management will be crucial to meet delivery demands and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage delivery demand with drivers and brokers
- Prepare delivery tickets in CUE and oversee dispatching
- Generate and analyze performance reports regularly
- Adjust customer account delivery parameters as needed
- Troubleshoot truck computer systems with support teams
Requirements:
- Experience in dispatching and logistics is preferred
- Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office
- Proven customer service experience is essential
- Professional driving or fleet dispatching experience is an asset
- Understanding of Liquid Fuels Handling Code for safe delivery
